Fanggle.com (“Fanggle”) uses the best-known hardware, software, and procedures to prevent unauthorized access to user data and sessions. Fanggle also stores sensitive and private information in an encrypted form. This security policy is incorporated into and subject to the usage Terms & Conditions governing the use of Fanggle.
To ensure security Fanggle uses a combination of the following:
Firewalls – Network devices that block unauthorized access while permitting authorized communications.
Encryption techniques –Encryption is the process of transforming information (referred to as plaintext) using an algorithm (called cipher) to make it unreadable to anyone except those possessing special knowledge, usually referred to as a key Authentication procedures Process and procedural controls among others, to maintain the security of your online session and to protect Fanggle accounts, your data and systems from unauthorized access. When you register, Fanggle requires a password from you for your privacy and security. Fanggle uses industry-standard 128-bit secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect data transmission between your browser and our servers.
Physical Security – Our servers are in a secure facility. Access requires multiple levels of authentication. Security personnel monitor the system 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Processes and Procedures – Our databases are protected from general employee access both physically and logically. We encrypt your password so that your password cannot be recovered, even by us. All backup drives and tapes also are encrypted. No employee may put any sensitive content on any insecure machine. We also ensure that all copied sensitive data are destroyed, if we download them to troubleshoot user problems. However, it is important to understand that these precautions apply only to our service and applications. We don’t exercise any control over how your information is stored, maintained or displayed by third parties.
Secure, encrypted communications From the time you submit your Login ID and Password, communications between your computer and Fanggle are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL3) technology. SSL enables client and server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering and message forgery.
Login ID & Password – Please ensure that your password strength is good. We also recommend that you change your password periodically. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Login ID and Password. You may not provide these credentials to any third party. If you believe that they have been stolen or been made known to others, you must change your password immediately through the preferences section. You should also report the incident to us by sending an email to support@fanggle.com. We are not responsible if someone else accesses your account through registration information they have obtained from you or through a violation by you of this Security Policy or Terms and Conditions.
